Advertising will work better when it is felt to be attractive rather than clutter. A design that has artistic merit will be noticed and be remembered, and that goes a long way to selling a product. This is all the more important if you are promoting something non-essential, like entertainment.
LEDs (Light Emitting Diodes) date back to the 1960’s, but the early version of these little lights were not very bright. Continual improvements in technology has brought super-bright led into common usage; they proved one popular option for modern televisions. LEDs can be made and operated quite cheaply.
LEDs are quite practical for illuminating a sign. They uses little power comparted to other lights, and pose no real electrical danger. Being easily powered with batteries they are ideal for portable signs. Signs can be back-lit with LEDs, or LED’s can be used to spell out product names. There are undoubtedly more creative uses for LEDs yet to be discovered.

Many trade shows and exhibitions make use of lights and LEDs. As most of these shows centre on new technology the use of lights seems appropriate. It takes minimal effort to add LEDs, but the effect can be quite vivid.

Almost anything looks better in the right light. A back-lit sign can stand out far better that a paper poster. And even a series of backlit signs has a lot of appeal. Just the simple act of lighting a sign means it gets noticed during the evening hours. Illumination make all the difference.
